
Andrew Pinnock is a Fine Furniture maker and designer, based in Sydney’s Inner West. He is a traditionally trained artisan, having served his apprenticeship at the world-renowned cabinet-makers, Restall Brown & Clennell, Lewes, Sussex, UK www.rbc-furniture.co.uk
For the past eighteen years he has been designing, making and supplying bespoke furniture to both leading retailers and private clients.
Using traditional and modern methods of woodworking, Andrew sources his timber from Australia, America and Europe, striving for the perfect match for a specific function or aesthetic requirement.
All furniture is hand made to the highest cabinet making techniques and standards to include details such as hand cut dovetailed drawers, mortise and tenon joints for legs, rails and sculptured joints.
With a deep knowledge of materials and a fine attention to detail, each of Andrew’s pieces exhibit a unique sense of style and individuality.
Andrew is both a craftsman and teacher and enjoys the benefits of combining his professional craft as an artist with his joy for teaching. Over the last three year’s he has been teaching, once a week, in the Architecture Faculty, Sydney University.
