Throughout the decades, Craig has established a successful business model that takes control of the entire creative woodworking process from forest to final form. With the ability to hand-select timber for the desired project at hand, each piece of fine handmade furniture from Craig Howard & Son starts at the sawmill.

Craig Howard is the owner and operator of ‘Craig Howard & Son’ a family-founded business located in Tasmania’s capital city Hobart. Craig is a fourth-generation woodworker who has been recognized as one of Tasmania’s finest wooden furniture craftsmen. Craig and son Jack strive for perfection, turning some of Tasmania finest sustainably sourced timber into unique handcrafted masterpieces for their clientele across the world. These two artisan craftsmen from a bygone age produce all manner of wooden furniture; from large corporate desks and board room tables to chairs, bookcases, bedroom furniture, coffee tables, and vanities. “Woodworking is something that’s in my blood,” shares Craig.
