The original brief for this piece, commissioned initially by a young architect, was for a contemporary interpretation of mid-century Danish design.

The result is a composition of planar lines, carefully assembled to create a detailed + refined statement piece.

Designed using a 15mm timber profile throughout, the construction of this table is able to utilise recycled flooring, which due to the thinness is often more difficult to re-purpose in furniture than more solid pieces of recycled timber.

The fine detailing throughout this piece interweaves timber and steel in unorthodox, refined sculptural junctions between perpendicular planes and materials. Thin planes and shadow lines combine to create a robust object to fit and elevate the space that it occupies.

Size: 1100mmW x 520mmD x 420mmH

Available in a variety of timbers (pictured in Spotted Gum). Select from Tasmanian Oak or Spotted Gum below, or get in touch about an alternative.
