Salter Furniture Creations is a manufacturer of distinctively designed and crafted timber furniture. With a passion for quality and design, Salter Furniture Creations enjoys crafting a variety of bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, dining and living room furniture from local, imported and recycled timbers.

Owner and Maker, Adrian Salter, showed passion and creativity from a young age. His parents had seen his flair for crafting things after witnessing a few episodes of Adrian ‘modifying’ his own toys! It was on his 7th birthday that Adrian’s parents gifted him a few basic tools, a bag of off-cuts and his own corner in Dad’s shed.

Moving from the farm to the big smoke to study Furniture design at RMIT, Adrian then continued into a traditional Cabinet Making apprenticeship. Since this time he has gained vast experience working with prominent furniture and cabinet makers throughout Melbourne and London.

Currently working out of a large workshop in Koonoomoo in regional Victoria (and still on the farm!), Adrian’s’ now 10 year old business, Salter Furniture Creations, continues to grow and remain passionate in its handcrafting of quality Australian timber furniture.
