LEESA is the newest smaller table off the ranks. A medium sized coffee table, custom built for a great couple in Coburg.

The final piece was an amalgamation of my lines of gold wall art and several specifics outlined by the client. Just wood, no paint (which I usually love to add) and I came up with a dark to light gradient to mould with and also lighten their exposed red brick walls and dark wooden furniture. The client and I decided we liked the idea of trying to Ombre a lath coffee table. I think I managed. Thank the gods for wood stain and liming.

The table top is recycled oregan lath wood which has been sanded back heavily, and hand carved to fit. Each piece is meticulously laid out on bamboo ply and edged with some sustainably sourced tasmanian oak cover strap.

The frame is recycled picket fence and dressed recycled mountain ash.
